The holiday season is in full swing, and without a doubt, this holiday is much different than years past. Many people including myself are having to become really creative with gifts due to circumstances.
This year, I want to be more intentional and put extra thought into the gifts I create for my friends and family. The beauty of homemade gifts is that you can control how much you spend easily.
How to Make a Hot Cocoa Gift
For the 2020 season, R.M. Palmer has a new product called Stirring Spoons. These would make an excellent stocking stuffer, or gift exchange item. They are especially ideal for our Hot Cocoa Gift Boxes. Check out what else complemented these spoons below!
Items we included:
We found most of the items in this cocoa gift set at the dollar store and Target. We spent about $12 on each of these gift sets!
- Hot cocoa packs
- marshmallows
- R.M. Palmer Stirring Spoons
- R.M. Palmer Minty Bells
- napkins
- elf
- mugs
- sprinkles
Assembling them
I took a plastic baking container from the dollar store and filled it with paper shreds fluff.
Then, I added some Minty Bells to this package. These are back by popular demand and will be in-stock soon on Amazon! Boy, do these smell and taste FANTASTIC added to hot cocoa or eaten alone!
Next up, I put a box of Stirring Spoons, and some hot cocoa packs into the package. You can add little marshmallows, or more candies. I put in a mug, sprinkles, napkin and topped off the package with a cute elf. You can add any inexpensive sentiment you may want.
These boxes will be sure to bring joy to your friends and family. Check out these DIY Reindeer Hot Cocoa Cones which would really be cute inside this gift!
Your giftee can easily make this Santa Hat Hot Cocoa with these kits! All they would need is some whipped topping to complete the look!
